Jill brings over 10 years of purposeful living programs and wellness to her clients as a professional mindfulness educator and consultant. Her breadth of experience spans from training individuals and groups to facilitating mindfulness practices in the schools and workplace. She incorporates the latest neuroscience research, helping her clients live more balanced, centered lives.
Jill brings a holistic background and formal training, having completed UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center’s year long Training in Mindfulness Facilitation and their ten month Intense Practice Program. She’s also completed Mindful Schools Curriculum training and Difficult Emotions training. She holds a Masters in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. She is a member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association. Jill presents on Mindfulness at Colorado institutions in a secular format, providing Mindfulness education and practices to those who wish to experience:
- ability to handle stressful situations, stay centered and reduce feelings of anxiety
- reduce brain chatter, think more clearly and gain productivity
- handle thoughts, moods and emotions more effectively
- discover a stronger connection to self and passions
It began when I had a health concern. My physician, convinced that stress what the cause, suggested I begin a meditation protocol. I took a workshop on mindfulness and after three weeks of practicing daily mindful breathing, my symptoms completely disappeared. I quickly realized the power that mindfulness had on my health and my ability to handle stress and difficult situations. It also became clear to me that I was more calm, present and aware, which contributed to my overall sense of well being. As a single mother or a teenage son and daughter, I know the positive effects a mindfulness practice has on my parenting, communication and relationship with my children.
My desire is to provide you with the training & practices to improve your wellbeing and resilience through the power of mindfulness.
